Should the NBA draft players out of high school? Some argue that now high school players should be allowed to enter the draft. Those who think players should have the right to give the NBA a shot, I disagree with them. Only 6.5% of high school players have made it to the NBA from high school. Players should not be able to get drafted to the NBA in high school.

A player that comes right out of college has a better life than high school players. College players know what they getting themselves in. High school players don’t. Carmelo Anthony is an example. He was only in high school and he knows he still needed some improvement in his game. Then again there was a temptation of money. Lot of money! He was probably among the five best players in the country. He decided to go to college.” Ill be the first person in my family to go to college he said”. He is one of the top 5 players right now in the NBA. This leads to becoming a better ball player. College ball is way more challenging.

Some people think that players should have the right to give the NBA a shot right out of high school. They believe that because if you good now why waste time to go to college. But what happen if they get badly injured in the NBA? Another reason is that they have no education. That why the NBA should not draft players out of high players.

Scouts should not be able to draft players out of high school! Players can play college than high school ball. College ball is like the NBA so they have more experience.Eddy Curry who came into the NBA directly from high school said, “ I would tell high school players to take their time”.
