How could schools force students to wear uniforms? Wearing uniforms is outrageous! A problem that I’m going to talk about is why do we all have to match? I think that wearing the exact same thing as everyone else is horrible! When two people wear the same thing it turns crazy! Imagine the whole school wearing the same thing. I feel very strongly about this topic because we all need a bit of freedom in our schools.
A question that I always wondered about was why do schools force students to wear uniforms? According to http://www.samber.com/chuck/shouldst.htm almost 50% of the students dislike uniforms. About 3,000 students were surveyed. Some of us don’t even like them, so why make us wear them? Almost everyday I hear people complaining about wearing the uniforms. The students all say, “ These are so ugly!” In my opinion I think the school just likes to see us suffer, wearing those ugly uniforms.
Why do students that have to wear uniforms get in trouble? Sometimes even in some schools students get detention for when they don’t wear their uniforms! According to http://www.bbc.co.uk/uk/wales/northwest/sites/youth/pages/uniforms.shtml two girls mane Leah and Kelly said, “Wear What We Want!” I just don’t understand is how could students get in trouble for wearing what they what to wear! It’s outrageous I tell you, outrageous!!
Why do all the students have to match? If two people wear the same clothes during one school day, everyone starts freaking out! Sometimes the students laugh at the kids who are wearing the same ting. I’m just talking about two people; imagine a whole school of students that are all wearing the exact same clothes. Nobody really likes to wear the same thing as another person.
Some people think that if all the students wear the same thing no one will get teased about what they’re wearing. A little bit more than 50% of the students and parents think that wearing uniforms are o.k. I got this information from www.google.com. People also think that in the morning, when the students are getting dressed, they don’t have to take time to look for their clothes. They just put on their uniforms.
I will always think that forcing students to wear uniforms is an outrageous thing! Students shouldn’t be forced to wear certain clothes. Students should have a choice in the matter of wearing uniforms or not! Schools should have a Freedom Friday. Every Friday students can wear anything they want to wear. Shouldn’t your child have a voice too?
