No uniform

Wouldn’t you feel uncomfortable wearing uniforms every day? In my school they make you wear khaki pants and button down shirts. I think that schools should not demand that students to wear uniforms because uniforms don’t let the students allow to express themselves. School uniforms don’t make students feel happy that they are wearing the same thing day in and day out.

I believe that students could easily pick out their clothing and not get to catch up on what to wear the next day.   I think that students should pick out what their going to wear the night before school, so that when they wake up they wont have to look for clothing it would just be right there waiting for them.

Staff and teachers think that uniform is good so kids do not bring gangs to the school. “There is no certainty that dress codes reduce school violence or improve academic achievement.” (Debate.uvm.edu/eesample/084.html) They also make the argument that everyone in the school is mostly on the same field.  So I think that students should not be made to wear uniform.

The          school’s uniform policy is too strict because if it’s a public school why do we wear uniform? Students should have the right to wear an appropriate outfit. There should be a dress code that lets us wear what we want with some restrictions.

Students including me feel unhappy with the simple fact that if you don’t put a button down shirt you go to dentition for days. This is ridiculous! My opinion of uniforms in public schools is that it is useless. Students should just go to school to learn and not think, “Oh man! I have to wear uniform.” Again students should not wear uniforms! I think we should have a vote and talk to our principal Mrs. Clunie and maybe have conversation about this problem. Don’t you feel like uniforms should be banned? It would be so cool!
